Spokesman of the Poland Football Association (PFA), Jakub Kwiatkowski, speaking with Complete Sports, also assured that the extreme cold weather will not stop the proposed March 23 match.

“Weather will change for sure and it can happen that it will be 15 degrees celsius by the time we play Nigeria in Wroclaw but you never know.

“Nigeria FA needs not worry; it’s a modern stadium with heated pitch. Even now league games are played there,” Kwiatkowski said.

The Nigerian Embassy has started mobilizing the Super Eagles fans based in Poland to cheer the team.

The game will be played Municipal Stadium Wroclaw, which is the third largest stadium in Poland and has a capacity of approximately 42,000.

Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr will release the official list of players that will prosecute friendly clash against Poland and Serbia on March 7.
